According to The Express & Star, Aston Villa striker Wesley will play against the Leeds United Under-23 side this evening.
The Villa Under-23 side will take on their Leeds counterparts at Bodymoor Heath in Premier League 2 tonight.
Wesley has been out of action for the senior Villa side since January 1, 2020 when he picked up a serious knee injury against Burnley.
The 24-year-old striker has played in a first-team training match against Albion and for the Under-23 side against their Wolverhampton Wanderers counterparts in recent weeks.
Boost for Aston Villa
Villa manager Dean Smith will hope to have Wesley back in action before the end of the season.

It would be a boost to the striker and the Villans if he plays in the Premier League this season, but even if he does not, if he continues to progress and gain his match fitness in training, then it would help him for the 2021-22 campaign.
According to WhoScored, the Brazil international striker scored five goals and provided one assist in 21 Premier League matches for Villa last season before he got injured.
