Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is actively looking to strengthen his squad before the transfer window slams shut.

A report emanating from Germany today claims that Aston Villa sent scouts to watch Haris Duljevic in action for Bundesliga 2 outfit Dynamo Dresden on Thursday night, according to German sports news website LIGA-ZWEI.de.
Steve Bruce will be desperate to bolster his ranks at Villa Park between now and the close of the transfer window in four days time, as he looks to give his side a boost in their hopes of securing promotion back to the Premier League this season.

German sports outlet LIGA-ZWEI.de claims that Duljevic has emerged as a key target for the Villa boss, and the west midlands outfit watched him play for Dynamo Dresden against St Pauli in the second tier of the Bundesliga on Thursday night.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina ace is an exciting left winger, possesses pace in abundance and is a tireless worker – two attributes that are prerequisites in order to succeed in the Championship, what with its’ robust nature and frenetic pace.
Duljevic, 24, is valued at just £1.1 million, according to Transfer Markt, and in today’s ludicrously inflated transfer market, that would represent excellent business for Villa, if they do in fact manage to sign the winger this month.
