Aston Villa are ready to move for Ross McCormack amid fears they could lose Jordan Ayew, the Daily Mail reports.
Norwich City are said to be in pole position to land the Fulham striker in a £10 million deal, though HITC reported earlier this month that the London side are holding out for £15 million.
And with Ayew reportedly drawing interest from European sides Hamburg and Bordeaux, the Mail reports the Villans could step in.

It is claimed that Roberto di Matteo’s side are keen to secure a replacement before they sanction the exit of Ayew, their joint top scorer last season.
McCormack, who the report states has also drawn enquiries from Newcastle United and Hull City, has not travelled with Fulham on their pre-season tour of Portugal due to a knock.

The Scotland international scored 21 goals in last season’s Championship, more than any other player bar Burnley’s Andre Gray.
HITC sources understand that McCormack, who turns 30 next month, is frustrated by his club’s hefty demands, despite signing a new contract at Craven Cottage earlier this year.
