Aston Villa pull out of the race for Robbie Brady according to a report.

Aston Villa have dropped their interest in signing Norwich City and Republic of Ireland winger Robbie Brady, according to The Birmingham Mail.
The 24-year-old was one of his country’s stars at Euro 2016, scoring a late winner versus Italy to secure the Boys in Green’s passage through to the knockout stages, before netting a penalty in the subsequent 2-1 defeat by host nation France.

Indeed, Brady’s star has risen quite a bit over the last few weeks and the Birmingham Mail have now reported that Aston Villa are prepared for disappointment in their reported pursuit.
He was relegated with Norwich City and Villa boss Roberto Di Matteo was keen to keep him in the Championship as the West Midlands outfit plot an immediate return to the Premier League.

But staying in the Championship now seems unikely for Brady – also linked with Southampton, Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion – and Di Matteo expects him to join a top-flight club this summer.
Brady has plenty of talent and one of the best left foots around, and the Italian manager will be disappointed to miss if his return to the big time is fascilitated.
