Aston Villa are reportedly planning to make an offer for Ludogorets winger Jonathan Cafu in January.
General view of Villa Park
According to Bulgarian news outlet Sportal, Aston Villa are interested in signing Ludogorets star Jonathan Cafu, and are planning a January bid for the winger.
Villa have made a superb start to life under new manager Steve Bruce, as he remains unbeaten after six games having won three and lost three since replacing Roberto Di Matteo in October.
Bruce will now have one eye on a play-off place as Villa look upwardly mobile, and he may look to bring in some new faces during the January transfer window to boost his squad.
Now, Bulgarian news outlet Sportal report that Villa are so interested in Ludogorets Razgrad star Jonathan Cafu, that they’re preparing a January offer to sign the player.

Cafu, 25, endured a nomadic spell during the early stages of his career, turning out for the likes of Desportivo Brasil, Boavista, XV de Piracicaba, Capivariano, Ponte Preta and Sao Paulo before joining Ludogorets in 2015.
Initially in the B team with the Bulgarian giants, Cafu quickly became a first-team star, scoring eight goals in 26 games during his first season with the club, whilst he’s kicked on this term by scoring ten goals in 22 appearances.
Ludogorets Razgrad’s Jonathan Cafu celebrates scoring against Arsenal
The Brazilian, who can play as a right winger or as a striker, starred against Arsenal in the Champions League earlier this month, as he scored and notched an assist in Ludogorets’ 3-2 home defeat to the Gunners.
Having tormented Arsenal that night, Cafu could now head to England, as the report claims that Villa are watching him in action against Basel in tonight’s Champions League clash, and will make a ‘concrete proposal’ for the player in January should he impress.
