Unai Emery’s Aston Villa and David Moyes’s West Ham United are interested in signing Divock Origi, a player Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool released last summer.
TMW have reported that AC Milan are willing to sell Divock Origi just a year after signing the striker on a free transfer following his exit from Liverpool, and that Aston Villa and West Ham United are keen on the 28-year-old Belgium international striker.
West Ham and Villa are interested in Origi, and so are clubs in Turkey, according to the report in the Italian media.
Aston Villa should not try to sign former Liverpool striker Divock Origi
In our view, Aston Villa should not try to sign Divock Origi in the summer transfer window.
Yes, the £87,000-a-week (Salary Sport) striker won the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League during his time at Liverpool.
And yes, Origi scored some important goals and is a cult hero among the Anfield faithful.

But, the 28-year-old is not a prolific striker and is not exactly going to take the Villans to the next level.
During his time at Liverpool, Origi could never establish himself in the starting lineup.
He was a squad player.
If Villa are to push for the European places in the Premier League table on a consistent basis, then they need to aim higher than Origi.
