Aston Villa are interested in signing Joshua King, and so are Celtic and Norwich City, according to VG.
The report has named Villa, Norwich and Celtic as the three clubs who are interested in the forward, who is leaving Everton this summer.
Disappointing season
King did not have the best of seasons on a personal level in 2020-21.
The former Manchester United prospect made five starts and seven substitute appearances in the Championship for Bournemouth in the first half of the campaign.
The Norway international failed to score or provide an assist in those games.
King moved to Everton on the final day of the January transfer window on a short-term contract.
The versatile forward – described as “fantastic” by former Tottenham Hotspur and Bournemouth manager Harry Redknapp on Sky Sports News in February 2021 – failed to make a huge impact at the Toffees.
The 29-year-old simply could not convince then Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti and managed 11 substitute Premier League appearances.
King could not score in those 138 minutes of Premier League football for the Merseyside club.

Would Joshua King make Aston Villa better?
King can play as a number 9 or out wide.
Ollie Watkins is the main striker at Villa and Wesley Moraes is also at the club.
King is unlikely to be deployed as the main striker by manager Dean Smith, but he could be a good option to have in the squad, especially as he would be a free transfer.
