Could a transfer happen?

In our view, Aston Villa could be able to sign Jan Bednarek from Southampton in the summer transfer window.

If the Villans and the Saints are in talks over a deal, then it means that both parties want to get something sorted.

Bednarek has been on the books of Southampton since 2017, and he himself could fancy a new challenge at this stage of his career.

The 26-year-old has scored seven goals and created four big chances in 133 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
