Unai Emery’s Aston Villa have been linked with Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.

According to Football Transfers, Aston Villa are interested in signing Jadon Sancho from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that Villa are “very interested” in bringing United winger Sancho to Old Trafford.

United are reportedly willing to sell the England international for £60 million, but the Villans do not want to pay that transfer fee.

Could Aston Villa sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United?

In our view, Aston Villa could struggle to sign Sancho from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

United spent a lot of money on Sancho, and it is unlikely that they are going to sell him for less than £60 million.

And the winger’s salary is also massive – £350,000 per week, according to Spotrac.

Would Villa be able to or willing to pay those kinds of wages?

We do not think so.

And it is also unlikely that Sancho will take a pay-cut to move to a club who are unlikely to challenge for the UEFA Champions League places in the Premier League table anytime soon.

The 23-year-old himself may not too keen on leaving United after two seasons and could feel that he could still be a success at Old Trafford.
