Aston Villa have reportedly made a move for Brentford’s Said Benrahma.

According to Le10 Sport in France, Aston Villa have submitted a bid of €10million (£8.9million) for Brentford winger Said Benrahma.
Villa won promotion to the Premier League last month, and have already secured their first signing by bringing in Jota from Birmingham City.
Despite landing the Spaniard, Villa still need other wingers, and it seems that Dean Smith is moving for another of his former players to go along with Jota.
Le10 Sport in France claim that Villa want Brentford star Benrahma, and have now submitted a bid of €10million (£8.9million) to sign him this summer.
However, TEAMtalk recently reported that Brentford had slapped a £30million asking price on Benrahma amid interest from Arsenal and Tottenham, meaning Villa’s bid isn’t even a third of the alleged price tag.
Benrahma, 23, racked up 10 goals and 14 assists in his first Championship season, having joined Brentford from Nice last summer, meaning he started his career in England under now-Villa boss Smith.

The Algerian international was struggling to break through in France, but has really hit his stride in England, impressing as a quick, skilful winger or playmaker.
Benrahma would be an exciting addition for Villa, and Smith certainly knows all about him, but Villa may have to increase their offer some way before getting even cloes to a deal.
