Aston Villa and Hull City have been linked wth Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Villa have joined Championship rivals Hull City in the race for the 21-year-old defender.
It has also been claimed that the Tigers have had as many as three bids turned down by Aberdeen for the Scotland Under-21 international.

The Scottish Sun has claimed that Villa manager Steve Bruce is keeping a close eye on the situation and is considering making a bid for the youngster.
Villa scouts have reportedly been keeping tabs on McKenna, who has been at Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen his entire professional club football career so far.

The Villans are aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season and stand a chance of getting promoted to the Premier League for the 2018-19 campaign.
Signing McKenna would be a good move for Villa, as the 21-year-old would be a long-term signing for the Villans.
