Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers defender James Tavernier is reportedly wanted by Aston Villa.

Tavernier is one of the best right-backs in the Scottish Premiership and is a key player for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers.
According to BBC Sport, the 27-year-old right-back scored 14 goals and provided 14 assists in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers this season.
The Daily Mail has reported that Villa, who will play in the Premier League next season after clinching promotion from the Championship via the playoffs, are considering making a bid for the the 27-year-old former Newcastle United right-back.

The report has also claimed that West Bromwich Albion in the Championship and Premier League outfit Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in Tavernier.
Good signing for clubs in England?
Tavernier has been superb for Rangers since he moved to the Gers in the summer of 2015, and the progress that the 27-year-old has made at Ibrox suggests that he will be a success at Villa, West Brom or Brighton.
