Aston Villa are interested in signing Mubarak Wakaso from Panathinaikos in the summer transfer window, according to Ghana Soccernet.
According to the report, Championship club Villa have made Wakaso one of their summer transfer targets.
The report has also claimed that Swansea City and Reading have enquired about the availability of the Ghana international winger.

The 26-year-old moved to Panathinaikos in 2016, but he struggled for playing time and joined Spanish club Granada on loan in the January transfer window.
Wakaso is a decent winger and could be a good addition to the current Villa squad, but the Villans could struggled to sign him as they are (reportedly) facing competition from two Premier League clubs.
The Villans are a big club and will be aiming to win promotion from the Championship next season, but the Swans and the Hornets could be more tempting for the Ghana international as they are in the top flight of English football.
Villa will be determined to at least finish in the top six of the Championship during the 2017-18 campaign.
