Departing Brentford midfielder Josh McEachran is reportedly on the radar of Aston Villa.

According to The Sun, Aston Villa are interested in signing Josh McEachran, who is leaving Brentford this summer.

McEachran is out of contract at Brentford in the Championship this summer, and Villa reportedly want to secure the services of the 26-year-old midfielder on a free transfer.

Good signing for Aston Villa?

Villa manager Dean Smith worked with McEachran at Brentford, and he will know the former Chelsea midfielder inside out.

Given that the 26-year-old is a free agent this summer, the midfielder will be a smart signing for Villa.

The former England Under-21 international did well during his time at Brentford, and the midfielder also has experience of playing in the Premier League with Chelsea.
