Daniel Sturridge, who has left Liverpool, is reportedly on Aston Villa’s radar.

Sturridge is a free agent at the moment, and Villa – who will play in the Premier League next season after winning promotion from the Championship via the playoffs – are interested in bringing the former Chelsea and Manchester City striker to Villa Park in he summer transfer window, according to the report.
The report has also claimed that although there is interest in the 29-year-old from foreign clubs, the chance to be the Villans’ main man and to show that he can still score in the Premier League has ‘growing appeal’.

Summer activity
Villa have been quite busy so far in the summer transfer window and have made some important signings to prepare for the upcoming 2019-20 campaign.
The Villans have signed Jota, Wesley and Matt Targett from Birmingham City, Club Brugge and Southampton respectively, while the loan deals of Anwar El Ghazi and Kortney Hause have been made permanent.
