Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough are all reportedly interested in signing the Liverpool winger.

According to a report from the Sun (print edition August 19th, page 60), Steve Bruce is hopeful that Liverpool youngster Sheyi Ojo will join Aston Villa on loan before the end of this month, despite facing stiff competition from Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest for his signature.
The Villans have begun their Championship campaign in fine fashion, taking seven points from their opening three games, but Bruce will still be desperate to bolster his ranks before the loan window slams shut on August 31st.
One particular area where Bruce wants to strengthen is his wide attacking department.
The Aston Villa boss told reporters how he plans to bolster his options in that particular department, as quoted via the club’s official YouTube channel:
“By the end of the window, we will hopefully have another two or three bodies over the line which will give us a hand. We’re light in wide areas at the moment. We’re certainly light at the top end of the pitch, so we’re light in a few areas, and that’s what we will try and address.”

And according to a report from the Sun (print edition August 19th, page 60), Ojo could be just the tonic to Villa’s problems in the wide attacking department.
The British tabloid claims that Bruce is confident of getting a deal for the Liverpool winger over the line, in spite of interest from Championship duo Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest.
And if he does in fact bring the 21-year-old to Villa Park, it could turn out to be a real coup for the west Midlands outfit.
