Aston Villa and Derby County are amongst the Championship sides keen on signing Liverpool starlet Sheyi Ojo on loan.

Ojo is one of a number of extremely talented youngsters within the Anfield ranks, but like many of the other starlets coming through, he is perhaps one of those who has suffered slightly with Jurgen Klopp transforming the Reds back into serious contenders on multiple fronts.

The 21-year-old has spent the majority of his time over the last few years out on loan, and Goal is reporting that he will be allowed to leave temporarily again this summer with a host of Championship sides keen on landing him for the coming year.

Ojo enjoyed a promising spell at Fulham last season, scoring four goals for the Cottagers, and Steve Bruce is seemingly hoping that he could be a low-cost addition to his Villa squad who have seen several of their attacking players return to their parent clubs this summer.
Birmingham were the lowest scorers in the league last term, so they will be hoping that Ojo could potentially give them more quality in the final third. Meanwhile, Gary Rowett is seemingly hoping to see off competition from two of his former clubs for the wide-man’s signature, with the Potters hoping to win the race ahead of Frank Lampard’s Rams and the Blues.
