Tyrone Mings has impressed on a loan spell with Dean Smith’s Aston Villa side.

Villa took Mings on loan from Bournemouth until the end of the season in January, and the defender has been hugely impressive for Dean Smith’s side.
Villa have now made Mings one of their top targets for the summer transfer window.
The centre-back is thought to be open to a longer-term move to the claret and blues, but Eddie Howe has previously suggested that he wants Mings back at Bournemouth next term.
At the moment it is unclear where Mings’ future lies, but Villa are doing all they can to bring the powerful defender to Villa Park.

Smith has already opened talks with Bournemouth to try and get a deal done.
However, the Express and Star claim that any transfer is dependent on Villa going up.
Smith’s men are set to play in the play off final next weekend, where they will take on Derby County at Wembley for a place in the Premier League.
