Aston Villa could yet move for Said Benrahma, after his move to West Ham United has stalled, the Telegraph say.
West Ham had looked the strong favourites to sign Benrahma after agreeing a fee, but that deal has fallen through at the last minute.
Villa are now said to be watching on, with Dean Smith’s side potentially making a late bid for the talented Algerian.
Villa have already brought in Bertrand Traore and Ollie Watkins to strengthen their attack, but they did miss out on Milot Rashica, and there is a feeling that Smith would like another winger.
If Villa could line-up with Benrahma and Jack Grealish flanking Watkins, they would have a hugely impressive attacking trio to call upon.
Villa have started the season in brilliant fashion, and Benrahma’s arrival would only help to increase the optimism around the Midlands club.

Benrahma, who was hailed as ‘unbelievable’ by current teammate Pontus Jansson (Football London), was arguably the Championship’s most dangerous player last term, when he provided assists and goals aplenty for Brentford.
The 25-year-old is a box of tricks, who can terrify defences.
And if Villa can partner Benrahma with Grealish and Ross Barkley then they could have three of the finest ball-carriers in English football all in the same line-up.
