Aston Villa have reportedly secured the signing of Jota.

According to the Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa have completed a deal to sign Birmingham City winger Jota this weekend, sending Gary Gardner in the opposite direction.
Villa won promotion to the Premier League on Monday by beating Derby County 2-1, returning to the top flight after a three-year absence.
With the celebrations dying down, Villa must now get planning for the Premier League, and that involves bringing in players – especially having let eight go on Saturday.
One major target in recent days has been Birmingham playmaker Jota, and the Birmingham Mail claim that Villa have completed a deal for the Spaniard this weekend.
The deal is allegedly worth £4million, and will see Villa midfielder Gary Gardner join the Blues on a permanent basis after a successful loan spell.

The 27-year-old thrived under Villa boss Dean Smith at Brentford, and a reunion provides Villa with a creative option either out wide or as a number 10.
Jota racked up 11 assists this past season, as well as scoring three goals, and he will now head to the Premier League for the first time after years of being lauded in the Championship as a budget David Silva.
