Aston Villa failed to win promotion to the Premier League.

With Aston Villa failing to earn promotion to the Premier League and Leeds United reportedly interested in taking him to Elland Road this summer, the Villa Park faithful must be worried about losing manager Steve Bruce this summer.
After all, Bruce is one of the best managers in England, and has been successful both in the Premier League and in the Championship.

Future uncertain?
The Daily Star reported earlier this week that Leeds are looking at the situation of the former Hull City and Sunderland manager, and a report in The Sunday Mirror today (print edition, page 75, June 3, 2018) has claimed that Villa chairman Tony Xia is considering Bruce’s position.
It has been reported that Villa chairman Xia and manager Bruce will hold crunch talks next week which will decide the future of the former Manchester United central defender.
The Daily Star reported on Saturday that Xia values Villa at £100 million and is willing to listen to offers for the Championship club.

Bad move?
Bruce has done well at Villa, who need to keep hold of him if they are to win promotion to the Premier League in the coming years.
The Villans are not going to find too many managers who are as good and experienced as Bruce.
