Aston Villa signed both Anwar El Ghazi and Kortney Hause on loan this season and have options to make the moves permanent.

According to the Express and Star, Aston Villa boss Dean Smith will decide whether to sign Anwar El Ghazi and Kortney Hause in the next few days.

El Ghazi and Hause both moved to Villa on loan last season, and enjoyed productive loan spells at Villa Park.

El Ghazi forced his way into Smith’s starting line-up, after initially making a slow start under Steve Bruce.

Hause, on the other hand, was only ever really a covering option – but still largely did well when he was thrown into Smith’s starting line-up.

Villa have options to make both the loan pair’s moves permanent, with an agreed price already set with their parent clubs.

At the moment Smith has not made a final decision on whether Villa should sign the duo, but he is set to make his mind up very soon.

El Ghazi may have more chance of joining Villa permanently than Hause, as the tricky winger was one of the claret and blues’ goalscorers in their play off final success.
