Steve Bruce’s Aston Villa side are set to take on Queens Park Rangers at the weekend.

Villa have been sweating over the fitness of Onomah, after the Tottenham Hotspur loanee picked up an injury just before the international break.
The England youth international was unable to feature for his nation’s under-21 squad over the past fortnight, as he underwent treatment at Villa.

But Villa’s physiotherapists appear to have got Onomah back to full health just in time for Saturday’s game.
Onomah is still touch and go for the weekend, but there is optimism from within Villa’s camp that he will be fit.
Onomah’s availability will be a major boost for the claret and blues, as he has become a key creative figure for Steve Bruce’s side.

Onomah’s importance was highlighted in Villa’s last game, which he missed, as the Midlands side slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Sheffield Wednesday.
If Villa are able to beat QPR at the weekend they will strengthen their position in the play offs in the Championship table.
