According to 90min, Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Jack Hendry from Celtic in the January transfer window.
Premier League trio Villa, Wolves and Brighton and Hove Albion have reportedly enquired about the 25-year-old central defender, who is on loan at Belgian club KV Oostende from Scottish Premiership giants Celtic.
Bournemouth, Werder Bremen, Freiburg, Brondby, AZ Alkmaar and Genk are also claimed to be interested in the Scotland international.
Moving to the Premier League
Hendry has been on the books of Celtic since 2018, but the Scotland international has failed to make a huge impact at the Glasgow giants.
The former Dundee star was sent out on loan to Oostende by Celtic manager Neil Lennon in the summer of 2020.
A move to Villa or Wolves would be massive for the central defender, and one suspects that if he gets the chance to join either of those clubs, then he would not hesitate.
Celtic could be willing to sell the Scotsman if they are made a good offer, as he does not appear to be in manager Lennon’s plans.
