The Newcastle United winger is reportedly wanted by Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and one more Premier League club.

Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are among the clubs ‘battling it out’ to sign Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons, the Mirror reports on its Monday live blog (15:06).
Both Villa and Palace, along with Huddersfield Town, are said to be hoping that Aarons will be available for a cut-price fee, after finding his Newcastle opportunities limited this season.
Aarons has only played 127 minutes for Newcastle’s first team since his return from a ruptured Achilles tendon ahead of the campaign, but has appeared as a substitute in two of their last four Premier League fixtures.

He was overlooked again against Chelsea on Saturday, however, and that is said to have alerted Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Huddersfield ahead of the January transfer window.

Aarons, who has caps for England’s Under-20s, is under contract for another three and a half years in Newcastle.
The Jamaica-born player is comfortable on either flank and has appeared at left-back previously.
Should Newcastle consider Aarons’ sale to Aston Villa/Crystal Palace/Huddersfield Town?
