It has been reported by the British tabloid that Villa have made a bid of £9 million for the 21-year-old central defender.
The report has claimed that the youngster is keen on a move to the Premier League, but the Villans may have to increase their offer.
Ekstra Bladet has also claimed that Villa have made a bid of €10 million (£9.10 million), but The Express & Star has reported that it is ‘wide of the mark’.
Celtic or Aston Villa?
Both Celtic and Villa are big clubs, but with the 21-year-old reportedly keen on playing in the Premier League, the Hoops could miss out.
True, the Villans narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League at the end of last season, but Dean Smith’s side will be determined to do much better this time around, and they are also likely to be able to offer more wages than the Hoops.
According to WhoScored, the 21-year-old central defender has played thrice in the Danish Superliga so far this season.
