Aston Villa, Derby County, Fulham and Middlesbrough have reportedly agreed terms to take Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo on loan.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Aston Villa have agreed terms with Liverpool to take winger Sheyi Ojo on loan – and the winger now has four clubs to choose from.

Ojo, 20, joined Liverpool from Milton Keynes Dons back in the summer of 2011, with the Reds winning the race to sign the winger at the age of just 14 amid rival interest from Premier League clubs.

So far, Ojo has made just 13 appearances for the Liverpool first team, and after loan spells with Wigan Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers, the England Under-20 international is now set for another loan spell.

The Mirror reported earlier this week that Aston Villa had joined Derby County, Fulham and Middlesbrough in the race to sign Ojo on loan – and Villa have put themselves right in the mix for his signature.

The Liverpool Echo now report that Villa have agreed terms with Liverpool to take Ojo on loan, much like Derby, Fulham and Boro, which means Ojo now has four teams to choose from this summer.

Villa do have wingers such as Andre Green, Jack Grealish and Albert Adomah, but Ojo could provide another spark in the final third, bringing pace and dribbling ability to Steve Bruce’s side.

Bruce has so far focused on experienced signings this summer, with John Terry, Christopher Samba, Glenn Whelan and Ahmed Elmohamady all arriving – but Ojo could bring some youth to the Villa Park ranks.

Yet, with Derby, Fulham and Middlesbrough also in the race, Villa still have some work to do to get the deal over the line, with the respective managers no doubt vying to persuade Ojo to join them over their rivals.
