According to The Mirror, Ashley Young has decided to sign for Aston Villa, rejecting a move to Premier League rivals Burnley.
It’s claimed that Burnley were leading the race for Young, with his former Watford teammate Sean Dyche keen to sign him.
Watford were keen, Inter Milan wanted to keep him, but Young has allegedly decided to go back to Villa.
Why Young has picked Aston Villa
It’s stated that Young is impressed with Villa’s ambition, with a real belief that they can push for European qualification next season.
Villa have started the window well with a big deal for Emiliano Buendia, and have now had a bid rejected for Emile Smith Rowe.
Their ambition will be tested with expected big bids for Jack Grealish, but they have done enough to convince Young to sign.

How did Young fare in his first spell?
Young joined Villa from Watford in January 2007, breaking their record to sign the winger having impressed at Vicarage Road.
With 37 goals and 59 assists in 190 games for Villa, Young was a star in claret and blue before leaving for Manchester United in 2011.
Now 35, Young has been branded a ‘top player’ by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and just won the Serie A title with Inter, so his leadership, experience and versatility should be vital for Villa.
