According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny was slammed regularly by one of Mikel Arteta’s analysts against Everton.
The Gunners lost once again on Saturday evening, as whilst Nicolas Pepe cancelled out a Rob Holding own goal, Yerry Mina won it for the Toffees.
Arsenal plugged away late on but just couldn’t find the goal, with their goalscoring woes continuing during yet another defeat.
These are tough times for Arsenal, and Arteta needs to find a solution sooner rather than later – and Elneny’s display may have disappointed some.
In fact, the Mail claim that one of Arteta’s analysts in the press box was ‘going berserk’ against Everton, tearing his mask beneath his mouth to vent his fury.
His target was Elneny, seemingly fuming with the Egyptian’s performance in the heart of Arsenal’s midfield.

Elneny has carved out a squad role under Arteta, but Saturday was far from his finest game, with one of Arteta’s trusted men seemingly angry with his performance.
The 28-year-old will need to hit back quickly in order to keep his place in the side, but the internal anger at his performance sums up the malaise Arsenal are in right now.
