Football.London have reported that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was not happy with Martin Odegaard at one point in the first half against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium at the weekend.
Arsenal got the better of Leeds 2-1 at home in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The win has enhanced the Gunners’ chances of finishing in the Champions League places.
Norway international attacking midfielder Odegaard was one of the better players for Arsenal, but manager Arteta was not happy with the 23-year-old during one moment in the first half.
Arsenal boss Arteta reportedly angry with Odegaard
Football.London have reported that late in the first half when Leeds went on a counter-attack, Arteta was ‘furiously waved his fist’ at Odegaard for not chasing back with the intensity that he wanted the former Real Madrid player to.
Odegaard saw Arteta and eventually won the ball back, according to the report.

High standards
In our opinion, Arteta not being happy with Odegaard in that first-half moment shows the high standards that the Arsenal boss has.
Arsenal have progressed a lot under Arteta this season and could now end up in the Premier League top four.
That was unthinkable the way the Gunners started the campaign, but now it is very much possible.
