According to Football.London, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was furious with Gabriel Martinelli during the Premier League game against Brentford at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Arsenal played out a 1-1 draw with Brentford at home yesterday.
Martinelli started the match for the Gunners.
The Brazil international forward did not have a particularly good game, although he had a very good chance to score.
Arsenal manager Arteta decided to take off the 21-year-old Brazil international in the second half.
Leandro Trossard came on in his place.
The Belgium international winger scored within minutes.

Mikel Arteta was not happy with Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli
Football.London have reported that just minutes before Martinelli was taken off, Arteta was furious with the youngster, described as “a player with big ability and personality” by Arsenal Sporting Director Edu on the club’s official website this mon.
“There were also a few signs within the game that Arteta was starting to lose patience with Martinelli somewhat,” states the report.
“As the Brazilian gave the ball away poorly with a flick inside his own half, the Arsenal boss reacted furiously on the touchline, before hooking him off not too long after.”
Now, Martinelli is a very good and promising young winger, but the Brazil international has not been at his best for a few games.
Trossard has done well for the Gunners since his move from Brighton and Hove Albion in the January transfer window.
Arteta could be tempted to start the Belgian instead of Martinelli if the Brazilian cannot get back to his best soon.
