Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is still eyeing up two more signings, after he gets hold of Gabriel, the Guardian report.

Arsenal are expected to complete the signing of Gabriel from Lille soon, with the central defender set to bolster Arteta’s side’s squad for next season.

The Gunners still feel that additions need to be made if they are to compete back at the top end of the table though.

Arsenal are said to be tracking another midfielder and a striker.

If Arteta gets his wish then he will have been able to make four signings this summer to directly impact on his side’s first-team next term.

Arsenal have already completed deals for Willian and Gabriel, which should make them stronger for next time around.

Arsenal are likely to want to add more steel to their midfield, even if Dani Ceballos does return on loan.

There is a feeling that Arsenal have lacked a midfield enforcer for a number of years now, and that could be right at the top of Arteta’s list of priorities.

Arsenal targeting a forward is more of a surprise, but it could point towards the potential departure of Alexandre Lacazette.
