Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla
According to The Mail, Arsenal playmaker Santi Cazorla is set to miss most of next season through injury.
The 32-year-old midfielder has been out of action since October with a troublesome achilles problem which has plagued the Spaniard for the past 18 months.
And The Mail claims that the former Villarreal and Malaga ace will not get a reprieve, suggesting that he will miss the majority of the 2017-18 campaign.

Cazorla has been a huge miss for Arsenal over the past two seasons, with his absence coinciding with a loss in form on both occasions.
He is perhaps the Gunners’ unsung hero and manager Arsene Wenger, fresh from signing a two-year contract extension, must now move to sign a long-term replacement if the latest report is in any way accurate.

It is a hugely important transfer window for Wenger, whose side finished outside of the top four last term for the first time in his 21-year tenure.
Nevertheless, fans will be expecting a Premier League title challenge next season, even if reclaiming their Champions League status seems like the priority, and replacing the increasingly unreliable Cazorla should be first on the agenda.
