West Ham United were heavily linked with Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere through the summer.

West Ham were strongly linked with Wilshere during the summer transfer window, but no deal materialised.
Wilshere has since been used sparingly by Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, and appears to have no future at the Emirates Stadium.

The 25-year-old is likely to be restricted to making appearances in cup competition this season, and the Star claim that it is in these displays where he will try and catch the eye of West Ham.
Wilshere is enthused at the prospect of trying to get his career back on track under the guidance of Slaven Bilic.

Wilshere was once touted as one of the top English talents, but a succession of injuries have blocked his progress, and he has slipped a long way down the pecking order at Arsenal.
Wilshere could feature this evening, when Arsenal take on League One side Doncaster Rovers in the Carabao Cup.
