Arsenal youngster Jordi Osei-Tutu is set to join Cardiff City on loan and travelled to Wales for a medical on Tuesday morning, according to Wales Online.
Just two months ago, Goal reported that the Slough-born 21-year-old was in line to be promoted to Mikel Arteta’s first-team squad, with Arsenal unable to afford the £30 million fee required to bring Max Aarons to the Emirates from Norwich City.
But it seems Osei-Tutu will instead have to wait for his first-team debut in that red and white shirt.
With Hector Bellerin expected to stay, and Cedric Soares joining on a permanent basis this week, the one-time Reading starlet is heading out on loan again after making a real impression during his spell at VFL Bochum in 2019/20.

Osei-Tutu is closing in on a deal that will see him put pen to paper with Cardiff for the next 12 months.
Given that Neil Harris’s Bluebirds are at their best when attacking teams down the flanks, Osei-Tutu’s attack-minded style should make him a perfect fit at the Cardiff City Stadium.
It remains to be seen whether he can replicate the success enjoyed by Wolves starlet Dion Sanderson during his short-term spell in South Wales from January until July.
