The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Juventus are looking at potential targets for next summer and have identified Arsenal centre-back Gabriel.
The Gunners are reportedly willing to sell the Brazilian star for €50 million (£43 million).
CMW have claimed that Juventus and Brazil international right-back Danilo is trying to convince his compatriot to move to the Italian and European giants.
Arsenal paid £27 million to Lille for Gabriel in the summer of 2020 (SkySports).
The 24-year-old defender signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal in October 2022.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta described Gabriel as “a young player with a great work ethic” who “shown huge qualities” on the club’s official website in October 2022.
Could a transfer happen?
In our view, Arsenal are unlikely to sell Gabriel to Juventus in the summer of 2023, but you just never know.
William Saliba has been a revelation at Arsenal, who could win the Premier League title this season.
Ben White was brilliant at centre-back last season, and now he is playing as a right-back.
The Gunners could feel that they could do without Gabriel for next season and beyond, especially if they get into the UEFA Champions League and are able to bring in a better replacement.
Now, of course, the 24-year-old signed a new contract only last month, but you just never know in football.
