Arsenal are presently outsiders to beat Tottenham to Lucas Moura.

Lucas visited Tottenham’s training ground last week and is keen on a move after being frozen out at PSG this season.
There is extra incentive on Spurs to get a deal done quickly, with Arsenal monitoring the situation.

Arsenal have had two bids fail for the Gabon striker, as they try to sign a big name player to replace Alexis Sanchez. The Sun report Dortmund want £60 million.
Lucas is a different player in terms of style to Aubameyang, one a striker and one a winger, but Sanchez’s versatility means Arsenal can keep their plans fluid in terms of a replacement.
Missing out on Aubameyang at this stage would cause a mini-meltdown for Arsenal fans – but hijacking Tottenham’s move for Lucas would go some way to alleviating the frustration.
Spurs are still heavy favourites to sign Lucas, and if any deal is likely to go through first it is their transfer.
Arsenal dragging their heels over Aubameyang may mean by time they realise the deal is off the table, Lucas could already be a Tottenham player.
