Arsenal plan to re-call Zech Medley and Trae Coyle from their loan spells at League One Gillingham, as reported by Kent Live.
A month ago, the Premier League giants took the decision to bring Zak Swanson back to North London after a difficult spell at MVV Maastricht in the Dutch second tier.
Clearly, Arsenal are not willing to let their most promising youngsters waste their time on the sidelines.
Like Swanson, Coyle and Medley have found game time hard to come by away from London Colney.
Centre-half Medley started brightly at Gillingham but has now played just 45 minutes of football across the last eight league games.
Coyle has fallen down Steve Evans’ pecking order too, despite scoring four goals for the Gills and, in the words of assistant coach Paul Raynor, showing glimpses of ‘fantastic’ talent and ‘real pace’.

Both players were left out of the matchday squad during Gillingham’s 1-0 defeat to a Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink led Burton Albion side on Saturday.
According to Kent Live, Coyle and Medley will now return to their parent clubs.
It remains to be seen whether the 20-year-old duo will be sent out elsewhere, or whether they will instead play U23 football between now and the end of the season.
