Three-time Champions League winner Lucas Vazquez could potentially leave La Liga giants Real Madrid for Arsenal and the Premier League.

Arsenal are interested in raiding Real Madrid for their hard-working winger Lucas Vazquez, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Zinedine Zidane is expected to swing the axe after a dismal 2018/19 campaign at the Bernebau with the likes of Dani Ceballos and Marcos Llorente expected to be sold after a rare trophy-less campaign for Los Blancos.
But Vazquez is one Zidane will surely be desperate to keep. The 27-year-old might not be the most naturally talented footballer in Madrid’s squad but he is extremely versatile and boasts a relentless work ethic.
Speaking to Reuters last year, Zidane raved about Vazquez’s ability to do the ‘dirty work’ with the Spanish international often providing a platform for his more gifted team-mates to strut their stuff.
So expect Zidane to resist any attempts Arsenal make to bring the academy graduate to the Premier League this summer.

It is no surprise that Unai Emery is a big fan, however. Vazquez would be a perfect fit on either side of the former PSG coach’s 3-5-2 system with his industrious style making him ideal for a wing-back role.
Vazquez has also won three Champions League titles with Madrid and he would surely relish a starring role at Arsenal after years as a reliable squad player at Real.
