Arsenal and West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Fulham loanee Joachim Andersen this summer.
The towering Danish centre-back, who stands at 6’4, joined the West London club on loan from Lyon last summer and has steadily impressed in the Premier League.
But Fulham are looking set for a spell in the Championship and Andersen probably won’t be following them down into the second tier.
According to The Mirror, both Arsenal and West Ham are among those keen on keeping the 24-year-old in London beyond this summer.
The report adds that Lyon value him at £20 million and that the big man himself is open to the idea of staying in the English capital.
Arsenal fans got a good look at Andersen last week as Mikel Arteta’s side snatched a last-gasp equaliser to deny the Cottagers.
Afterwards, a furious Andersen was filmed kicking over a hand sanitiser station inside the Emirates Stadium tunnel, with those two dropped points being potentially devastating for Fulham’s survival hopes.
Here’s how Arsenal fans reacted to that incident on Twitter.
