Serie A giants Roma will reportedly sell N’Zonzi for £19m with a return to the Premier League on the cards thanks to Arsenal.

Arsenal are interested in bringing Roma enforcer Steven N’Zonzi back to the Premier League this summer, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The 30-year-old has endured a difficult debut season at the Stadio Olimpico, failing to live up to the huge expectations that followed his big-money arrival from Sevilla in the summer of 2018.
And TMW believes that Roma are ready to cut their losses and accept a slightly reduced fee of £19 million for the 14-time France international with Arsenal apparently interested.
This is perhaps no surprise given that N’Zonzi enjoyed arguably the best season of his career under Unai Emery in 2015/16. Emery was in charge of Sevilla when the 6ft 5ins midfield powerhouse arrived in Andalucía for a bargain £7 million (The Guardian).

Physically imposing yet deceptively elegant, N’Zonzi would offer presence and class in central midfield at Arsenal should the former Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers star opt for a return to England rather than a move to France with Monaco.
But, with Granit Xhaka, Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira already in Arsenal’s squad, do they really need another midfielder in this mould?
