According to Calciomercato, Arsenal have been scouting Slavia Prague attacker Abdallah Sima ahead of a potential move.

It’s claimed that Juventus are watching Sima, but now face a battle with Arsenal to win his signature in 2021 with the Gunners desperate for attacking firepower.

The Senegalese attacker has been likened to Arsenal hero Thierry Henry, and president Jaroslav Tvrdik has suggested that he will cost €50million (£45million) in January.

Who is Abdallah Sima?

The 19-year-old only joined Slavia from MAS Taborsko in July, but has quickly become a first-team star and one of the brightest prospects in the Czech Republic.

Sima plays either as a right-sided winger or striker, using great movement to get in behind defences whilst also being an aerial threat at 6ft 2in tall.

Sima has bagged nine goals in 12 games for Slavia, as well as four goals in six outings for Slavia B, which has sparked interest.

What about West Ham?

West Ham have used the Czech market to great effect by signing Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal, so could they rival Arsenal for Sima?

The current price tag seems a little steep for West Ham, but Soucek admitted that he has recommended Sima to West Ham when speaking to CT Sport.

If Arsenal want Sima, they will face a battle both at home and abroad, with the teenage attacker earning huge interest already.
