Arsenal are interested in signing Odilon Kossounou from Club Brugge in the summer of 2021, according to The Mirror.
It has been reported that the Ivory Coast international midfielder is one of Arsenal’s top targets this summer and would cost around £8.5million with performance-related add-ons.
Inter Milan are interested in the 20-year-old, but the midfielder finds the prospect of playing in the Premier League appealing, according to the report, which has added that former Arsenal stars Gervinho and Emmanuel Eboue have given glowing references to the club when asked about him.
Who is Odilon Kossounou?
Kossounou is a rising star in European football and is Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe’s Ivory Coast international teammate.
The young midfielder has scored one goal and provided one assist in 21 Juniper Pro League and has made one appearance in the Europa League for Brugge so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

The 20-year-old, who has one cap for Ivory Coast, joined Brugge from Hammarby IF in the summer of 2019.
As stated on Brugge’s official website, Kossounou can play in defence and in midfield.
Brugge are at the top of the Belgian league at the moment with 60 points from 26 matches, as many as 13 points clear of second-placed Royal Antwerp, who have played 27 games.
