Arsenal are interested in signing Ademola Lookman from Everton in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Gunners wanted to sign Lookman before he left Charlton Athletic for Everton in January 2017.

According to the report, the winger’s adviser is close to Arsenal and that would help if manager Arsene Wenger wants to move on with the deal in January.

The Sun has also claimed that although Everton would not want to sell the 19-year-old, an offer of £15 million may change their stance.

Lookman joined Everton from Charlton in January 2017 for a transfer fee of £11 million, according to The Mirror.

The England Under-21 international made three starts in the Premier League for the Toffees last season, but the winger has struggled for playing time so far this campaign.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace are interested in signing Lookman in the January transfer window.

Spurs are known to give chances to young players under manager Mauricio Pochettino, and that could be tempting to the Everton winger.
