Arsenal want Olympiacos centre-back Ousseynou Ba, after spotting his talents in a game against them in the Europa League, according to Sport Time in Greece.
Olympiacos knocked Arsenal out of Europe this season, with Ba a commanding presence in both matches.
And it is said that the powerful defender’s performances against Arsenal have actually put him on Mikel Arteta’s side’s wishlist for the summer.
Arsenal are known to be looking for a centre-back, as they aim to strengthen at the back for next term.
Ba could present an interesting option, even though he may not be the high-profile addition that Arsenal supporters are craving.
Ba has had a very strong season in Greece, where he has been a regular in Olympiacos’s starting line-up.
At the age of 24, Ba still has room to improve and considering he is said to be valued at £18 million by Le Quotidien, he could be a potential bargain for the Gunners.
