Arsenal target Luka Jovic’s price-tag has fallen by £21 million, according to the Daily Star

Jovic joined Real Madrid for £52 million last summer (Sky), but he has struggled in his first season in Spain, and Los Blancos now would reportedly be prepared to take a big loss on the Serbian.

That could be good news for Arsenal, who are believed to be tracking the clinical front-man.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has his eyes on a new number nine, with the futures of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette still very uncertain.

It was claimed last month in PianetaMilan that Arsenal were prepared to offer a sizeable contract to Jovic if they could get a deal done.

The Gunners are thought to be working on a limited budget this summer, so Madrid’s apparent willingness could well play in to their hands.

If Jovic was to move to Arsenal he would join with a point to prove.

The 22-year-old was a prolific scorer in Germany, but has hit just two goals in 16 La Liga appearances for Madrid.

Arsenal would, therefore, be taking a risk by going for Jovic, but if they could get him back to his best, he would be a huge bargain at his current price-tag.
