The Crystal Palace and Ivory Coast winger is reportedly still sought after by the Gunners.

Arsenal could have competition from overseas in their reported chase for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha as Napoli are preparing a £60million bid for the highly rated player, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
The nine-times capped Ivory Coast international has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs over the summer including the Gunners, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.
The Independent claimed earlier this week that Zaha – who according to Spotrac earns £130,000 per week – was keen on a move to Spurs, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side are not making a move for the attacker at this time.
Likewise, the Toffees put out a statement reported by The Telegraph which insisted that no second bid was made following the one that was turned down last weekend and that the matter was closed.

This leaves Arsenal in the reported race for Zaha and iNews recently claimed that the Gunners are persisting with a move for the 26-year-old and hope to sign him alongside their move for Nicolas Pepe.
According to the Daily Mail, however, the Partenopei had sought to sign Pepe but have now turned their attentions to his international teammate, who is believed to be open to a move abroad.
Napoli would have the edge over Arsenal in that they can offer Zaha Champions League football, the winger having outlined his ambitions to compete in Europe’s premier club tournament (Daily Mail), not to mention how the Gunners reportedly bid £40million, compared to Napoli’s purported £60million bid.
