Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.

According to a report from German media outlet Sport Bild, Arsenal are lining up another raid on Borussia Dortmund, with Julian Weigl topping a list of potential targets written up the Gunners’ head of recruitment Sven Mislintat.
The north London outfit have been heavily active during the last two transfer windows, and they seem to be acting with a certain type of ruthlessness that quite simply wasn’t present during Arsene Wenger’s reign.
Arsenal currently sit in fifth spot in the Premier League table, eight points adrift of league leaders Manchester City, and there are signs that Unai Emery’s side will mount a sustained challenge for the Champions League places this season.
German publication Sport Bild claims that the Gunners are keen to bolster their midfield ranks, especially with Aaron Ramey likely to be leaving at the end of the season.

They suggest that Arsenal are keen to sign Dortmund’s Julian Weigl, although he will command a fee of somewhere in the region of £68 million.
Whilst Weigl would not be a direct replacement for Ramsey, he would certainly be a wonderful addition to the Arsenal squad.
