As per a report by 90 Min’s Graeme Bailey, Bayern Munich have refused to ever consider any enquiries for Arsenal target Leroy Sane, as they refuse to sell the in-form winger.
CBS journalist Ben Jacobs had told Arsenal Analysed that the Gunners’ primary target before now-Barcelona forward Raphinha was none other than the former Manchester City superstar.
Interestingly, Jacobs had also mentioned that the Gunners could revisit the prospect of signing the 26-year-old, once compared to Thierry Henry by Rio Ferdinand, as per the Daily Express has 10 goals and 6 assists to his name in all competitions this season.

While Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka have been in brilliant touch this campaign, there is no denying that the club still need a top-drawer option out on the flanks.
However, it seems to be that the prospect Sane and Arteta reuniting at the Emirates Stadium is unrealistic.
Bayern refuse to let Sane go
According to a report by Graeme Bailey of 90 Min, Bayern Munich have dismissed any enquiries for the German international, as they intend to keep him at the club.
It is stated that while the North Londoners have inquired about the two-time Premier League champion’s situation at the Allianz Arena, such approaches have been shunned by Julian Nagelsmann’s side.
Considering the Bundesliga champions let Robert Lewandowski join Barcelona this summer, they are unwilling to sanction sales for any of their existing forward options, including Leroy Sane.
Arsenal should give up in their Sane pursuit and look for alternatives
With Leroy Sane shining for the German side this season, it is clear why Bayern will not open the door for him to head to North London.
However, Arsenal’s need for a winger is inarguably, as an injury to either Saka or Martinelli could derail not just their title challenge, but their season as a whole.
As a result, Mikel Arteta’s side should not get discouraged by their inability to sign Leroy Sane and instead look elsewhere, as a top wide forward could strengthen their chances of becoming domestic champions.
