According to The Times, Arsenal will announce a new contract for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this week.

Aubameyang is out of contract at Arsenal in the summer of 2021, and, according to The Times, the striker has agreed a new deal with the club.

The report has claimed that the announcement is expected to be made this week, although it has not been mentioned what the striker’s new salary will be or the length of the contract.

Great news for Arsenal fans

Aubameyang is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is a world-class player.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker staying at the Gunners next season (and beyond) will enhance the chances of the North London club finishing in the top four of the Premier League table.

Arsenal have recently signed Willian on a free transfer following his departure from Chelsea.

It will be hugely exciting for the Emirates Stadium faithful to watch Willian and Aubameyang form a partnership in the Arsenal attack.

Arsenal will also play in the Europa League next season after winning the FA Cup in 2019-20.
